Using Pro Remote crashes app (Please Test with 3598)

I just got the latest update and now everytime I use ProRemote it crashes ProPresenter. It happened at least six times and when I stopped trying to use ProRemote it stopped. Anyone else having problems, or know a solution?

Philipp... The more details you can provide, the quicker we'll be able to figure out your issue.

• Do you have the latest updates for both Pro Remote and Pro4?
• What specific action(s) are you doing with Pro Remote when it crashes?
• Does the crash happen in control and/or observe mode?
• Does the crash happen on all presentations?
• Do the presentations it happens with have any media cues on them?
• Have you tried deleting your preferences?

It only happens when Im using proremote. It happens in more than one presentation. The presentations do have media cues. I have the latest update, got it today. I believe that I fixed the issue though. I have since added Pro to the list of apps on my firewall preferences. Could that fix the problem?

As you continue to test this, be sure and try presentations **without** media cues as well. The more in detail you can document the steps that consistently cause a crash, the faster we can track it down. Thanks.

I am having the same issues as Philipp. After logging into the network, proremote works for about 30 seconds great and then PP crashes. We have the latest updates installed for both applications.

I am here to clarify. I am still having the problems. I did not have these issues with Pro 3. It only crashes when using ProRemote. It does not matter whether the slides have media cues or not, the network does not matter and I have also tried creating a network with airport and it still crashed. I can find no reason and no other common root than ProRemote. I would really love to find some fix for this because I heavily rely on ProRemote.

Just started seriously using pro presenter remote because I have to run audio and words tonight. It seems like it would work perfectly but after the 4th transition with the app, Pro Presenter crashes. Any Ideas?

We have a new version (which resolves this issue) that should be released today or tomorrow. Keep an eye out for that update and let us know if it doesn't resolve the crash.
